Danny Welbeck Celebrates His Goal with Rashford

In the current season, Danny Welbeck scored a goal, his first of the season, for his current club Brighton & Hove Albion. He is known to celebrate his goals and link the same with other footballers. This latest celebration he shares with Marcus Rashford of Manchester United. For Welbeck, it was the first goal in Premier League current season. He flicked the ball nonchalantly to Joe Gomez before firing past Alisson, the goalkeeper. The result was a cap off to a stunning win with a score of 3-0. This was a win for the Seagulls which took place at Amex stadium last Saturday.

When he netted the goal Danny, an Albion forward, wheeled away in a celebratory pose, with his finger on the temple. This resembled what Rashford, his former teammate had done. This was when Rashford scored a winning goal when they played against Manchester City. It was a celebration that Danny posted on social media as well. This was reciprocated well by Rashford as well. The star player of Manchester United sent back a response on social media to Welbeck.

The latter tagged Rashford on a picture of his celebration and Rashford responded with a handshake emoticon.
Welbeck is known to make his celebrations unique. The 32-year-old striker has been finding different ways to celebrate his goals. One way is to refer and honor other players of different Premier League clubs. This win that he obtained for his club has lifted Brighton above Liverpool’s position. They have now moved into seventh place on the leaderboard of the Premier League. The Seagulls have a total of 30 points which they have gained from the total of 18 games that they have played this season. Here’s hoping Danny makes more achievements this season.
