Louis Saha has marked out Danny Welbeck as one of English football's brightest up-and-coming youngsters and says that he admires his talent. The Frenchman, who will travel to Wearside with Everton on Monday, was a senior player at Manchester United when Welbeck was coming through the ranks.

And he immediately noticed the youngster's poise and talent, even amongst the myriad of stars at Old Trafford. Danny Welbeck - on loan at Sunderland from United until the end of the season - has impressed since being handed a run in the team, and his success comes as no surprise to Saha.
