CAVANI RECOMMENDS SANCHEZ TO PSG

Edison Cavani, who just won the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award, seems to recommend Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez to his club PSG.

He says the 28-year old unsettled star would be a delight and a great addition to the set-up of the French team.

Sanchez has delayed agreeing a new deal with the Gunners, with less than a year left on his current deal with the club. The Chile international has been a subject of endless speculations. As Arsenal’s fate continues to worsen, it seems Sanchez might still exit the side despite the manager Arsene Wenger promising to retain him.

The French side made moves last year with the hopes of advancing in Europe. However, they failed woefully – despite their 4-0 edge in the first leg over Barcelona in the Round of 16 – and they could even lose their birth right – the Ligue 1 – for the first time in six years.

There are strong reports that PSG want to add Sanchez to their ranks. Cavani has sanctioned the deal. Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-EmerickAubameyang has also been linked alongside Sanchez.

“If they come, they are welcome. We always hope that new players complete the team with their qualities,” Cavani said about both targets for the club.

Aside PSG there’s also German giant Bayern Munich who are reportedly keen on Sanchez. If the deal happens Arsenal could lose another star in recent years.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are also gunning for Danny Welbeck, reports claim. The striker has had an unsettling year so the Turkish club hope to lure him from the Emirates for £16 million this summer. Welbeck has scored five times and has two assists in 18 games this season. He was amongst the scorers’ in the recent victory over Manchester United.
